Largest Counterfeit Coupon Ring EVER in Arizona

by Clipinista on July 12, 2012

I read a surprising article this week, three women in Arizona were busted in the largest coupon ring EVER! There were over $25 million worth of bogus coupons. They had an online website where you could buy tons of coupons for FREE ITEMS. Using a bogus coupon is a crime! So these ladys basically stole millions from big manufacturers and also put innocent people at risk. Pretty Scary! The article I read said:

During the bust, investigators also uncovered more than $25 million worth of bogus coupons and confiscated 22 assault weapons and 21 vehicles, along with a 40-foot boat.

These people had 22 weapons not to mention tons of luxury items. This scares most people right out of buying coupons online. Although these people operated at counterfeit coupon ring their are plenty of websites that are legit. You just have to check it out and make sure it’s a trusted source. If they have coupons for FREE items.. RUN!

What I find MOST amusing is that below the statement about if a site has coupons for free, run, is the little box that says “FREE TIDE PODS!” I know it’s not the same thing, but I found it HIGHLY amusing. :)
